How we store Christmas lights… so they don’t get tangled.

We have never been able to tolerate tangled Christmas lights, so years ago we devised a way to store them knot-free.

It’s simple, really.  You just wrap them around cardboard before sticking them into storage containers.  Any cardboard will do – for example, this time, we used some from a recent Amazon purchase:

See?  Very simple, and our lights have never been tangled.  Not so simple?  Trying to get photos that aren’t blurry apparently.  We managed a lot of blurry photos this week.  Maybe we should snag some lessons from our friend over here at Sarah Schulte Photography…
